DARK HISTORY TOUR #2: DEAD FRENCHMEN

dark history tour

Take a journey into the dark history of an often unexplored area of the old city. Hear tales of the bones of the dead, explore the mystery of tunnels connecting to our dark past and walk the two most dangerous waterfront blocks in the world in the 1850’s! Learn the origins of Frenchmen street and of the sacred energy that lured a satanic priest across the globe to perform rites in a property that still requires rituals to keep the disquieted spirits at bay! All of this and more awaits you on our Dark History Tour #2: Dead Frenchmen!

We begin our dark history tour at Santos Bar, where you’ll hear about a shocking discovery that was made nearby in the 1960s… Our tour will then take you to Latrobe Park, the Marigny, the Dragon’s Den, the haunted Lafitte Guest House and more. From playboy millionaires and the horrors of the slave trade to smuggling and spirits trapped after murders, our Dark History #2: Dead Frenchmen Tour will show you the horrors and history that have made New Orleans the captivating city it is today.

Our Dead Frenchmen Tour explores a different side of the city and does not overlap with our original Dark History Tour; the two tours are companions and will give you a new appreciation for New Orleans and the people who walked these streets before us!!
